SAUMC MLK DAY - MISSION OUTREACH

Mission Outreach will kick-off 2026 by serving the Homeless.

We will station ourselves on the

West side of the of the Shamblee Library

facing 7 Eleven from 11AM-1PM or until all food is gone!

We are preparing to serve 50 people.

We will need few men to be on-site.

But, everyone is welcome to come out and "Make it day on, not a day off"!!!

Mrs. Dubose is going to make up cards to give out with Saint Andrews information and the motto:

Give Generously and Receive Graciously!

The official theme for the 2026 Martin Luther King Jr. Day, designated by The King Center, is "Mission Possible II: Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Nonviolent Way," a call to action to create the Beloved Community through daily acts of nonviolence and justice, focusing on cultivating equitable systems, expanding opportunities, and fostering compassion.
